"Art In The Park" will again be a two day event. It will take place at the lovely
Vernon Square in Darien, GA from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 and 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 13th, 2014. No one should break down or remove any part of his/her display until 5:00 PM on Sunday.
Eligibility:
All artists, 18 years and older, are eligible to submit original art work in the following categories: Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastel); Sculpture; Photography; Drawing (drawings, graphics & etchings); Fine Crafts (fiber art, pottery, jewelry & stained glass).All work must be for sale and priced with the intent to sell. This is a juried show. All artists not previously juried by MAA must submit 3 (5" x 7") pictures of their work with their application. If you wish these pictures returned to you, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your application package.
Application Deadline & Entry Fees:
All applications must be received by March 14th. An entry fee of $75.00 for MAA members or $90.00 for non MAA members must accompany each application. Applications received after this date must include additional late fee of $20. Those not accepted will be notified and the entry fee will be returned. All checks, money orders or cashier's checks should be made payable to McIntosh Art Association, Inc. and mailed along with application to Kelly McClellan, P.O. Box 1392, Darien, GA 31305. There will be no refunds after March 14th 2014.
Space Specifications: Each exhibitor is allotted a 12' x 12' space. 10' x 10' tents are recommended. All exhibitors must furnish their own tents, tables, racks, chairs, etc. Tent spaces are assigned.
